SHEFFIELD SHIRT DESIGN
This design was
a fun way to celebrate Sheffield
made for people
who cherish the city
ABOUT
The focus of the design is the one-of-a-kind Sheffield Supertram passing through famous landmarks.
The tram reflects the everyday life of Sheffielders and is meant to be a symbol of connections between the diverse communities and neighborhoods amongst the city.
These include the Arts Tower (University of Sheffield`s building), Sheffield Hallam University, Crucible Theatre- home of Snooker, the brutalist estate Park Hill and the Town Hall clocktower.
THE STYLE
I adopted this comic book/ newspaper/ postcard style, the bold shapes and contrasts to help with storytelling.
Simplified to only 3 colours it`s optimized for screenprinting without losing the visual impact.
