Hello! I`m Bo - the girl behind Steel City Shirts! As a big fan of 80`s underrated heavy metal, Steel City Shirts was started out of my frustration with lack of official merchandise of bands that I like.

Initially, I had no clue about how design and shirt printing works, and after much research, it came clear that learning screen printing was the way to go, as I knew that I needed to produce quality items with unique designs which are valuable for fans to compete with the bootleg merch market, as the goal was to financially support the bands through shirt sales.

Printing and designing merchandise alongside with bands harnessed me with knowledge on how to increase perceived value of a screen-printed garment.
